ShatterpointDB is a website that I work on in my free time. I work on it because I like bringing something of value to the community and seeing what lists people create. I don't mind putting my time into giving back to the community.

However, running a website isn't free. Hosting and domain names cost money. Additional features like CDNs to improve the website also cost money. Therefore, the website runs some ads to offset some of those costs. This way, the website is able to stay free for everyone to use. I hope you understand the decision.

The ads are all selected by me, so I'll make sure that only boardgame related ads will come up. No personal data is gathered through the ads on ShatterpointDB and no cookies are set to follow you around the internet.
